By the next morning, I had told my wife about it, and she immediately checked consumer reports to see if this winfixer was the real thing or not. It turned out to be a scam! Stupid Me! Fortunately i was able to remove the malware with Ad-Aware SE.

My understanding comes down to: Any and all people that have a personal computer have 2 different addresses? both a public and a private IP address which means we all have two. If that's the case why would anyone have 3 addresses on their computer when two should be the highest amount. Right?
